A long time ago, Alex, our founder, worked for a corporation and frequently had to travel for business. Needing someone to care for his two dogs, he felt it wasn't fair to them to be frequently kennel them in cages for long periods and decided a pet sitter was the best option.

And so the search began with much frustration. Unanswered phones, unreturned messages, no one had a website; even worse was the pricing. There were extra fees for just about everything: multiple dogs, holidays, last minute, going for walks. It was all very stiff and complicated.

In the summer of 2001 he decided to start his own pet care business and do it better than everyone else. How? By offering services that are simple, reliable and provided by people who are trustworthy, accessible and love what they do.
