Position: Part-Time Pet Sitter & Dog Walker

Job Description:
Alpha Pet Care is currently hiring part-time associates to provide in-home pet sitting, dog walking and overnight care for our clients' pets. The work schedule is flexible and varies depending on client needs. May include early mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Associates are hired as Independent Contractors.

 

Compensation:
Associates are paid a commission equal to 60% of the revenue collected from the client.

 

Qualifications:

• must live in the Long Beach/Lakewood area.
• must be at least 21 years old
• minimum three (3) years customer service (pet care and/or in-home experience a +)
• minimum ten (10) years experience with dogs and cats (this can include raising your own pets)
• must demonstrate a passion for animals and ability to provide excellent customer service
• prefer candidates who are current dog owners
• must have reliable transportation
• high school diploma or equivalent (some college or undergraduate degree preferred)
• excellent communication, follow up, time management & organizational skills
• strong computer skills & Internet access
• cell phone (smart phone preferred)
