Amber Kothe, CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer)

Amber was certified as a behaviorist and dog trainer by Animal Behavior College (ABC). ABC’s licensed and accredited program was founded by Animal Behavior and Training Associates, Inc (ABTA), the largest independent dog training company in the United States.

Since joining Alpha Pet Care in 2009 Amber has proven to be an exceptional communicator and demonstrates an innate sense of empathy allowing her to anticipate her clients’ dogs’ needs and behaviors. Amber is also CPR/Pet First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. As a certified trainer with ABC, she knows the behavior traits of almost all breeds so you can trust that your dog will always receive excellent training.

 

Deb Gonzales, CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer)

Since she began working with Alpha Pet Care in 2008, Deb has shown herself to be an intuitive, versatile and patient trainer/behaviorist. Highly creative, she is not only proficient with basic obedience but also advanced behavior such as agility and aggression.

As an apprentice under a well-established trainer and canine nutrition specialist, she learned from the best and soon began conducting her own private and group classes. Deb’s methods are humane and effective, utilizing verbal reinforcement, treat rewards and gentle corrections. Her techniques are fun, safe and innovative. Tools range from the most high-tech devices on the market to common household items. And, known to have a ‘quick draw’, she’ll likely get your dog to stop jumping in record time!

When Deb's not conducting private lessons you can find her on the beach or at a park with her dog Petey. Deb continues to work with many rescue groups and has a knack for transitioning those beloved rescue dogs into homes.
